"Tears and Tomorrow"

"Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy. And there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that thy children shall come again to their own border."(Jeremiah 31:16-17

"No more Tears". Jeremiah, a spokesman for God, declares that it is time we refrain from weeping and shedding tears. Since God created us in His own image, He knows that we are emotional beings and stopping the tears is not always the easiest thing to do. God is fully aware of our pain, grief, loss and every need that we have. In order to help get us past the pain He gives us promises to motivate us to stop weeping over our past emotional traumas. We are promised that our "work shall be rewarded", so your life is not unnoticed but shall be honored by God! I know that many of you are overlooked for promotions, unnoticed by friends and completely left out by some people. God is not like man that He could lie but He is just, merciful and blesses us beyond measure. Jeremiah says to stop weeping, wipe your tears so you can see all the good things that God has in your future. "The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing."(Psalm 34:10). Jeremiah goes on to tell us that we will be delivered from the enemy, that our future is full of hope and our children will not be lost but shall be blessed. If the enemy has held your children captive, it's time that they be released and within your borders so they can be blessed. "The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children."(Psalm 115:14). According to God's word, our future is bright and blessed but in order to step into your future, you must be delivered from your past pain. It would be impossible to fully see the blessings of God in your future if you are constantly wiping tears. Tears have a way of altering your vision because amidst the emotion, you get your future confused with your past. If you have been so wounded that you are in that condition, you will trade your future for your past if your not very careful how you process the hurt of yesterday. God wants to heal us from the pain of yesterday and propel us into the future. Today is very important, this real time present moment can change your life forever if you allow God into every room in your house. If you want tomorrow to be different than today then you will have to something different today than you did yesterday!!
