"Do not Fear"

Jesus was on His way to the home of the ruler of the Synagogue, where his daughter lay dying. The journey was delayed by a woman with an issue of blood but Jesus took time to heal her. Then someone came from the house and told the ruler that his daughter was dead so there wasn't any need to come. The verse below is the response of Jesus Christ to this horrific news;

"As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, BE NOT AFRAID, ONLY BELIEVE."(Mark 5:36)

If we can do this amidst the noise of the world system and the sound of hopelessness that is constantly ringing in our ears we can become the people that change the world!!!! Jesus is a world changer and you can be also, "BE NOT AFRAID, ONLY BELIEVE"!!!

"It's not your fight"

"And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's." 2 Chronicles 20:15)

A Prayer for our Children!!

Heavenly Father;
The only place I can find to begin this prayer is to quote a passage from Matthew, where Jesus was teaching us to pray. "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven....Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil." Father, we need You to step into our lives in a way that we've never experienced before because our children are suffering, the children of the world are suffering. After over 3 decades of ministry, my wife, Kari M. Boatner and myself have prayed for, cried with and counseled many families with troubled children. Father, our children in America are troubled by so many things that it is impossible to speak them all in this prayer but I know that You know the pain of our hearts. The conditions of children in third world countries that I've personally seen is beyond human comprehension but not beyond Your great mercies!!! We boldly approach Your throne to find grace for the children, their parents and their teachers. If we are going to change a generation, it will take the input of this entire group. Father, help us to lay aside our differences, our self absorbed life styles and all of us in ministry, parents, teachers and children come together as one to ensure that our children get what they need to grow into mature God-Fearing adults. We are a few weeks from the end of the school year, teachers, parents and students are counting down the days till this drama called "school" comes to an end!! God, please have mercy on us and our children, give us wisdom to make our churches, homes and schools places of peace, safety and education. We surrender our lives to You, Father, please open the heavens and come down. Let this generation experience the power of a resurrected Savior...IN JESUS NAME, AMEN!!!!!

"Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down,"(Isaiah 64:1a)

"The Passover Lamb"

The "Passover" literally means that the Judgement of God will pass over you if you have the Blood of Jesus applied to your life.

"And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD'S passover. For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.
And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and WHEN I SEE THE BLOOD, I WILL PASS OVER YOU, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever."(Exodus 12:11-14)

"Pain"

"Pain"

Pain is a door to a dark, lonely and sometime very confusing room!! Please understand that pain comes with many faces, physical, mental, emotional, relational, spiritual and the list goes on.... In the room of pain, you have more questions than answers, more stares than hugs and sometime, more critics than friends. If you find yourself in the room of pain you will find out who really cares because unfortunately people can be shallow and don't want to be inconvenienced by you. In keeping with human nature, people don't generally like to be inconvenienced by someone else's problems. However the true followers of Christ will love you under any circumstances. Some take their blessing of a "pain free" life for granted. Pain is indeed a misery but it will give you several gifts, if you allow the Holy Spirit to minister to you during this time. You will soon stop criticizing others because you finally understand that you have no idea what they may be facing on any given day. Pain will begin to break your heart but God is very close to the broken hearted!! (Psalm 34:18) You enter into the "fellowship of His suffering" and it was through the suffering of Jesus that we were saved and can be healed!!! (Philippians 3:10) Time is but a small dot on God's eternal map and I'm believing that Jesus will bring healing to your body in the very next second. Will you agree and believe with me that we may be healed today? There is one thing I can promise you for sure that there is a pain free zone called Heaven, Come quickly, Lord Jesus!! A life of pain makes you unique or different and most people are afraid of something different because they don't understand it but God will send special people into your broken life that will love you anyway, they don't have to understand!!!

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be ANY MORE PAIN:for the former things are passed away."(Revelation 21:4)

"My Grace is Sufficient!"

Whatever you are facing today, God's Grace is enough to make you strong in the weakest moment of your life!!!!

"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."(2 Corinthians 12:9)
