Are you tired yet?

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season WE SHALL REAP, if we faint not. Galatians 6:9

Have you been on the journey of Faith for a while? Long enough to know that life is real every day? I'm real sure that's why the Bible calls it Faith. Just trust God and keep moving, for we shall REAP A BLESSING from Heaven in due season!! Paul used an agriculture analogy to make his point of reaping. First you need some good soil, where are you labouring? Is it good ground? Jesus taught about the different types of soil. To get the best harvest, you must start with the best soil. Unfortunately, a lot of us sow our lives into soil that will not produce, it is depleted of the proper nutrients that is required to reap a harvest. We invest with no return, expend our spiritual energy into relationships, churches, ministries, and dead end jobs that will never produce fruit. You may ask, why we do this, well, we don't like to admit that we are at the wrong place. O' yes we are doing the right things but at the wrong place. Why? We are comfortable, obligated, afraid of change or just plain don't know that there is a better place to sow our seed. All change is not bad or wrong, if you need to move on to better soil, pull an Abraham, pack your bags and set out to find your place for reaping. But before you set out on your new journey, please consider that it takes a while to till the soil, plant the seed, hoe the weeds, pray for rain, kill the insects and then pick the harvest. It sure sounds like a whole lot of work. A whole lot of work is better than wondering around all your life and never finding a place to put down roots. You ever notice in the Bible that God never called lazy people into service. Just talk to Jesus about where you need to sow and He will show you. When He confirms your heart you will know and then you can start to RECIEVE the Ephesians 3:20 BLESSING!!! Above and beyond your imagination!!! I can't wait, because its going to be GREAT!! "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,"(Ephesians 3:20)

"My sin is ever before me"

As I look in the mirror I am asking God to let me see who and what I really am......"For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me."(Psalm 51:3) When we find the strength as young immature believers to quit the sins on our "bad sin list" we feel so good about ourselves but unfortunately if we are not careful, it can actually turn into self-righteousness. As we become controlled by our self-righteous religion then we think we are "spiritual" enough to judge others, to be condescending to others, condemning them, just trying to make the "unrighteous" ones look bad to make ourselves look and feel good about ourselves. Upon discovery of his arrogant self-righteous religion by a revelation of God Himself, Job said, "I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee. Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes."(Job 42:5-6) After this encounter with God Himself, he was a different man than he was in chapter one. Have you grown in Christ over the last few years or are you just adapting to your new religious surroundings? Christianity is not about adapting to someone else's experience but having a spiritual relationship with Jesus Christ. In which one of these categories do you fit?

Fears, Troubles and Afflictions

"I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears." ( Psalm 34:4)

"Delivered me". David said he sought the Lord and he was delivered from all his fears. All of us are tormented by fear at some point in our lives. Fear was one of the first spirits of evil that our forefathers experienced in the Garden.
"And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid; "(Genesis 3:10)
"Fear hath torment" but God's love will cast it out of our lives. (1 John 4:18) In the garden Adam was afraid because he had violated the covenant of God and fear was introduced to mankind. We have been tormented by the spirit of fear since that day several thousand years ago. Fear can only be overcome by being mature in the Love of God and walking in that love. In this Psalm, David is not only delivered from fear but also from all of his troubles and afflictions. "The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all." (Psalm 34:17-19) To know that we can be delivered from all of our fears, troubles and afflictions is some very good news!!! I know that I am thrilled about the possibilities of this hope that is given to me in Psalm 34. Can you even imagine a life free of fear, trouble and affliction? I'm suggesting that we let our imaginations run wild in faith and believe that God can do this seemingly impossible task in our lives. "For verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you."( Matthew 17:20b) "Nothing shall be impossible", Lord, Today is the first day of the rest of my life and I believe that I am free from fear, trouble and affliction in Jesus Name and NOTHING is impossible for me, I call it done- Amen!!!

"In Thy Presence"

"Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore."(Psalm16:11)

"Presence". I'm in your presence this morning, Lord God Almighty!!! I'm worshipping and waiting now Oh, Lord! Come quickly my Lord, King of Splendor and Grace, move on us again. Shake the Heavens and the earth with your power, we hunger for you now ! In your presence is life, joy and pleasures forevermore. We bring our hearts to you for a time of worship! As we approach Your Throne of Grace, we bring the Blood of Jesus so that we may approach You with boldness. "Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."(Hebrews 4:16). We are dressed in the garments of Praise as we enter your courts with Thanksgiving, we are in need of a touch from You today and we plead Your mercy that You will pour out Your Spirit upon us right now!!! We open our eyes to read Your word, as we read our Faith is building within us and we are seeing Your vision for our lives. The more we worship, the bigger the vision gets and we completely trust you to provide for every need along the way!! As we walk in Your will for our lives we feel the absolute peace that only You can give. Cleanse us that we can walk uprightly with the power of righteousness. In Your power, we stand in Faith right now, we seek You right now, we need You right now!!!! Move upon us, our children, our churches, our country and the nations of the earth at this moment in time, open the Heavens and come down, In Jesus Name, Amen!!!
