"Hold my Tongue"

"Teach me, and I will hold my tongue: and cause me to understand wherein I have erred."(Job 6:24)

Job directed this question at his judgmental, self-righteous friends and they, of course, couldn't offer a spiritually sound answer. There is not a thing on earth that upsets the self-righteous more than getting a question as an answer to a question. If you read the stories of Jesus you will notice that He used this method to bring light to the subject at hand thus unveiling Truth. God is the only one that can answer Job's question, which actually should be a prayer to our Heavenly Father, not a question that is really an expression of our own spiritual frustration. If we would be so bold as to use this verse as a cry to our loving Savior, our lives would change. I'm praying this short pray because its the desire of my heart to walk with God. At the risk of sounding juvenile, "I double dog dare you to pray this prayer". Lets change ourselves so we, by the power of Jesus, can change the world!!!
Father, Teach me, and I will hold my tongue: and cause me to understand wherein I have erred, in Jesus Name, Amen!!

"Any day now"

The prayer you've prayed for so long will be answered.
The dream you've been dreaming will become a reality.
The desire of your heart will come walking through the door of your life.

"Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart."(Psalm 37:4)

Any day now this verse will become a reality in your life, the hunger that's inside you will be filled with God's Presence, only believe!!

"If I tell you"

If I tell you I am humble, I'm probably not...
If I say I'm not arrogant, I probably am...
If I am constantly trying to convince you that I'm a Christian, I most likely approach church as a Spectator Sport....
If I feel a need to show you how spiritual I am by always doing or saying something religious, I'm probably not filled with the Holy Ghost...
If trying to impress my fellow church goers is my obsession, I'm either insecure or a hypocrite or both...
If I have a wall of resistance built around my life it's most likely because I'm not over my last hurt and this is the best I can do right now, please pray for me, if you don't mind......
If I'm gracious to all people, extending mercy without judging them regardless of their appearance or what I've heard about them, always thankful to God regardless of my circumstances, faithfully gathering with other believers to regularly Worship The Lord My Savior, there is a good chance I've met Jesus Christ!!! If I've met Jesus then there is at least a 100 percent chance He's working with me on my issues. All I ask is you give Him a little more time because I'm really trying to talk, walk and be like Jesus!! I love each of you that read this and may God Bless you beyond measure with His Favor. Jesus is Awesome and its cool to know that He really cares about me and my junk.... I love you and Jesus, too....
