Are we rejoicing or are we mourning?

"When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn."(Proverbs 29:2)

Solomon, the Son of David, penned these wise words several thousand years ago. If you answer the question, "Are we rejoicing or are we mourning", in light of the verse you will automatically know what kind of leaders we have in our country today. The word "mourn" means to groan or sigh as a result of something that has caused you to be burdened. The people of America are burdened with taxes, a failed healthcare system, war, political games and the list just goes on..... But God has never forsook His people, He always has a promise, regardless of our circumstances!!! "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted."(Matthew 5:4). The word "comfort" means to call near or to give something. I'm glad the my Jesus has the grace I need for these challenging times!!! God Bless America!!!
