But now the Lord my God hath given me rest on every side, so that there is neither adversary nor evil occurrent. 1 Kings 5:4
The Hope this verse brings to my Heart is beyond words. " Rest on EVERY side"!!! I long for that day. We are told throughout the Bible that God will bring us to a place of rest. And He's not always talking about in the "sweet by and by". O' yes, we have an eternal rest in the Presence of God Almighty but as I recall we were commanded to pray. "Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done in earth as it is in Heaven". Earth, that's where I live right now and it's NOW that I need some rest. King Solomon said that God had given him rest on every side, no adversary and no evil occurrence. "There shall no evil happen to the Just". (Proverbs 12:21) " Lead us not into temptation and deliver us from evil". ( Matt.6:9-13) It is not God's will for us to stay stressed out all the time. He desires that we have some peace and rest. What are you troubled about? What's keeping you up at night? Start speaking this verse to the mountain that stands in your path to healing, blessing, deliverance and success!!! As Jesus said, it will be cast into the sea. Start telling your mountains how big your God is instead of always telling God how big your mountains are, they will melt in His Presence!
Father, We thank You for rest and peace! In the Name of Jesus all of my stress is gone, all of my enemies are defeated and no evil will come near my dwelling. I am The Blessed of The Lord and He is leading me beside the still waters. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Apostle Paul doesn't tell us it's God's will to give thanks FOR everything but "in" everything. So it's "the will of God for us to give thanks in everything". Do you want to be in God's will? When you have a thankful heart to God regardless of your circumstances it will OPEN the GATES OF GOD, the portals of Heaven!! We enter into His Gates by thanksgiving!!! "A woman's work is never done". Truer words have never been spoken!! Where would the church be today without the power, determination and dedication of women? After preaching for 32 years, it is my observation that the church would be way behind on its purpose and pretty empty on Sunday mornings. Our nursery ministry would be almost non existent, Sunday school would suffer a devastating blow and may I remind you that JESUS was born of a WOMAN!! Ladies, I salute you today for laboring in the Gospel ministry because it would not function to its fullest capacity without you. My wife, Kari M. Boatner, has faithfully stood by my side, encouraged me, loved and prayed for our ministry for over 3 decades. Our Church Financial Administrator is a women, she is accountable to make sure all the offerings are counted, deposited and dispersed to the various needs of God's House. She also makes sure that all of the ministries and charitable organizations get their monthly checks. She carefully documents each transaction for our church records. Our Media Ministry Director is a women that labors in the social media world to enable our sermon videos to be watched all over the world as well as our devotional ministry. We get emails from various parts of the world from people that watch the sermons and read the devotions. The potential reach is endless!! I thank you for watching the sermons and reading the devotions. A couple weeks ago I had a nice lady ask me if she could do anything to help with the ministry. In her email she shared that she didn't have any money to help support the ministry but she would love to do something for God in association with our ministry. I responded to her by making her aware that God would bless her desire to serve. I told her that she could sit at her computer and by sharing our ministry devotions, videos, etc...with her friends, she could change the world. It is a very subtle way to comfortably share the Gospel with the people that need to be saved, healed, encouraged, etc.. If you would like to join the ministry team, just share our ministry each time we post something new, invite your friends to like our ministry FB page and ask them to put our app on their phones.
