Aren't you glad God doesn't have bad days? Even when we are not so strong in our faith, He doesn't change!!!
"For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed." (Malachi 3:6)
Our daily faith status update may have an extreme impact on our day, but has no impact on the nature and intent of our God. I'm very happy to know that even when I can't seem to get it together, He's got it together for me. I'm at peace knowing that God has my name tattooed in the palm of His hand.
"Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands;" (Isaiah 49:16)
He holds me in His hand, safe from the enemy!!!
"And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand." (John 10:28).
No matter what happens on this planet, in this life, I cannot perish because my God has got me in His hands, holding me safely.
"A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee." (Psalm 91:7).
Nothing can separate me from the Love of my Heavenly Father. Thank You, God!!
"If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself."(2 Timothy 2:13)

When I feel the cold of winter.....
When I feel the cold of winter |
Oh the evil things that shake me
All the words that break me I need You
Over the mountains, over the sea
Here You come running, my Lover to me
Do not hide me from Your presence
Pull me from these shadows, I need You
Beauty wrap Your arms around me
Sing Your song of courage, I need You
Over the mountains, over the sea
Here You come running, my Lover to me
Oh, through the valleys, through the dark of night
Here You come running, to hold me till it's light
I'll come running, I'll come running, I'll come running back to You

Is your life a wreck?
Draw a line in the sand which will be a boundary, by default, it will create a perimeter around your life and once again, by default, it will create a structure, then you will have what is called context in your world!!! Your marriage has a different context than your job!! These disciplines define what you do at home, work, school, church or you will just do random all day creating confusion and unnecessary stress in your life. You must have structure or your children would have no idea which school bus to get on after school, worse yet, what house is their home? Is your life a wreck, if so, I advise you to read the Book of Proverbs until the merry-go-round stops, then get off and go home where it's safe!! If you have stress at home, work, church and school, you must stop the madness or the madness will stop you from enjoying your world!!!
"The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe."(Proverbs 18:10 KJV))
RUN INTO THE STRONG TOWER AND DO IT NOW!!!!

Looking Good!!
Everything that looks GOOD TO YOU, may not be GOOD FOR YOU!!!
The Forbidden Fruit on the "Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil" looked good to Eve, smelled good to her, tasted good to her but wasn't "GOOD FOR HER"!!!!
"And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons."

"Yesterday or Tomorrow?"
"Which one do you want, you can't have both!
All your hurt, pain and sorrow is behind you!!! I'm sure you are hurting, but today is a 24 hour Time frame God has given us to connect to tomorrow but if you take all that emotional baggage with you, you will never be free of the emotions of yesterday so you will never truly experience tomorrow!!!! You cannot have both at the same time!!!
We are so addicted to our emotions that we can't go very long without having to look back at the pain someone caused us to get our EMOTIONAL FIX!!!!! We go to church, shed a few tears then we leave thinking we've met with God but there is a big difference between the "Presence of God" and our human emotions being stirred over our past!!!!
Yesterday or Tomorrow, Which will it be???
"Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,"
(Philippians 3:13)

"Grace, The Gift of God!"
In 1760, a self-proclaimed wretch penned the hymn, "Amazing Grace", his name was John Newton. Mr. Newton, with God's help, gave the church a great Hymn. A song that we still sing today about the Grace of God!!
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: "Ephesians 2:8
This passage of scripture leaves our religious point systems out of the picture. Humanity, unfortunately, inherited it's religious nature from Adam and Eve. What did Adam do when he sinned against God? He tried to fix it with some fig leaves, leaves that soon withered and exposed his nakedness. Our fig leaves are a pathetic excuse for the Grace of God but our religious nature still goes for the fig leaves instead of repentance. We are saved by the Grace of God, plus nothing--minus nothing!!
I can assure you that I was saved by grace, it had nothing to do with my being good and churchy. Sure, I walked the church isle, cried, got baptized and hugged all the good church folk almost every time I got in trouble!! Guess what, that's not salvation. Salvation is meeting Jesus and meeting Jesus is simple faith in Him as Savior. On January 31,1982, 35 years ago tomorrow, I met Jesus Christ my Savior, He radically changed my life!! It's sad that people are still wearing fig leaves today to try and cover their sin. Please quit wasting your time trying to please God enough with your good deeds to get to Heaven. The road to heaven is not paved with good intentions but with the Blood of Jesus, The Lamb of God!!!
"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Put your faith and trust in Jesus today. Ditch your fig leaves because they will wither in a few hours and you'll have to gather some more anyway. Life would go a whole lot better for all of us if we would spend our time bragging about what God has done for us rather than what we've done for Him.

Show Respect or wipe your tears and say goodby!!
Respect is more than a common decency, it is imperative in every aspect of relationship! Whatever the context, if you don't respect those in relationship with you, you will lose what really matters!!! You cannot keep what you will not respect!!!
