Heavenly Father;
The only place I can find to begin this prayer is to quote a passage from Matthew, where Jesus was teaching us to pray. "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven....Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil." Father, we need You to step into our lives in a way that we've never experienced before because our children are suffering, the children of the world are suffering. After over 3 decades of ministry, my wife, Kari M. Boatner and myself have prayed for, cried with and counseled many families with troubled children. Father, our children in America are troubled by so many things that it is impossible to speak them all in this prayer but I know that You know the pain of our hearts. The conditions of children in third world countries that I've personally seen are beyond human comprehension but not beyond Your great mercies!!! We boldly approach Your throne to find grace for the children, their parents and their teachers. If we are going to change a generation, it will take the input of this entire group. Father, help us to lay aside our differences, our self absorbed life styles and all of us in ministry, parents, teachers and children come together as one to ensure that our children get what they need to grow into mature God-Fearing adults. We are a few weeks from the end of the school year, teachers, parents and students are counting down the days till this drama called "school" comes to an end!! God, please have mercy on us and our children, give us wisdom to make our churches, homes and schools places of peace, safety and education. We surrender our lives to You, Father, please open the heavens and come down. Let this generation experience the power of a resurrected Savior...IN JESUS NAME, AMEN!!!!!

SICK OF BEING SICK?!?!?
Heavenly Father, my family and friends are sick. Some have terminal illness, incurable diseases, flu, strep and what we in the south call the "crud". The crud comes and goes, some have had it two or three times and others have had it for several weeks, JESUS, we are sick. I've never seen so much sickness in almost 34 years of ministry!!
O'Lord of Great Mercy, would you please touch all of us with Your healing touch right now In Jesus Name, Amen!! In agreement with the people and Word of God by the Authority of Jesus Christ I declare healing over the body of Christ!!!

"In a short while, this will be a long time ago!"
While enjoying dinner with some dear friends, in reference to the topic of conversation someone said; "In a short while, this will be a long time ago"!!! He couldn't remember where he heard the statement nor who had said it, movie, news, etc....but in the context of my frame of Spirit at the moment, God used it to speak volumes to me!! I have no idea of its original intent but I do know God used those words to rejuvenate my Spirit and Hope!!! Whatever you are going through, enduring, facing, putting up with, tolerating, just remember; "IN A SHORT WHILE, THIS WILL BE A LONG TIME AGO"!!!
"And when even was now come, his disciples went down unto the sea, And entered into a ship, and went over the sea toward Capernaum. And it was now dark, and Jesus was not come to them. And the sea arose by reason of a GREAT WIND that blew. So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid. Stress/Anxiety/Fear/Trouble
You won't out run it...
You won't outsmart it...
You won't outlive it.....
In the end it will win, you are not that good at what you do. It has far more training and experience, stress can cause anything to create anxiety!! It can turn any dream into a nightmare, any day of the week!!

How God works......

God will take care of His Own and He often uses unusual chosen vessels to do so..... Pharaoh fed Israel for over 400 years, Cyrus of Persia (Iran) delivered Israel from the Babylon captivity, Moses used Egyptian Gold to build the Tabernacle in the Wilderness!! King Solomon made business deals with Hiram, King of Tyre, to get the magnificent "Temple of Solomon" built and ready for Worship!! Prophets Isaiah, Jeremiah and Ezekiel denounced Tyre but years later when Jesus visited Tyre He was well received!! It could quiet possibly have been a harvest on the good work of King Hiram by helping King Solomon establish a House of Worship in Israel centuries earlier!! God doesn't forget anyone that helps His people!!! God sees the "Big Picture" and works among nations in unusual ways using unusual people to accomplish His Purpose at various times!!! Trust Him!!!
