Be careful who you listen to, follow and allow to influence your life. It will have a profound effect on you!!

It's easy to tell who you've been listening to because you sound just like them. You need personal identity so you need to sound like yourself but with a heavy influence of the Word of God!!

David prays for the Wings of a Dove so he can fly f
David prays for the Wings of a Dove so he can fly far away to a place of rest....Have You ask for wings lately???
"Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved." (Psalms 55:22 KJV)
If we take this verse at face value it is a powerful promise from God to sustain us!!! But we need to dig deeper into the verse by reading the whole chapter to see just how heavy the burden was that David cast on the Lord. It will give us even more hope and strength!! Take time to read the chapter 2-3 times, slower and more deliberate each time!!
This burden is so heavy that David's heaviness upon him has him crying loud unto the Lord due to the voice of oppression, iniquity, wrath, and hatred of those that have come against him in every way!!! David's chest is hurting, he feels the terror of death and with such anxiety he feels certain that death is soon!!! He is overwhelmed with fear, trembling and horror!! In verses 3-5 David describes the worst possible anxiety attack that can consumed you!!!
David prays for the Wings of a Dove so he can just fly away to a place of rest that is far away from here!!! David says he is going to pray morning, noon and night because He knows his God will fight his battle for him and win!!! In verse 21 he describes his enemies......they are the dangerous kind, smooth talkers but war and hatred is in their hearts!!
"The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords."
(Psalms 55:21 KJV)
Now let us cast our heavy weight upon our God! He can sustain us because we are deeply embedded in a righteous foundation that cannot be moved!!! Jesus Christ is the Anchor of our souls so cast your burden upon Him because He alone can carry the weight while sustaining us at the same time!!

"The Snare is Broken"
"Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: THE SNARE IS BROKEN, and WE ARE ESCAPED! "(Psalm 124:7)
The Hope given in this verse is beyond human comprehension! A "snare" is a trap that takes you by surprise. Sometime we can find ourselves in situations we never saw ourselves in, yet, here we are! Please focus your Faith on the phrase, "the SNARE is BROKEN"! Just walk around all day repeating that phrase and your Faith will begin to rise up out of your Spirit. The Holy Spirit inside you will respond to the Word of God as you confess it's powerful truth. How did God create all that you see, by speaking..... Take charge of your sin, fear, depression, lack, sickness and bitterness today, speak to the chains that bind you and tell them that they are BROKEN!! This is TRUTH and TRUTH makes you FREE!!
"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."(John 8:32).

Trapped?
Do you feel trapped? Are you overwhelmed by feeling trapped and feeling like there is no way out of your present circumstances!! If you think that you are trapped, then you will soon start feeling trapped. Your thoughts will overrule reality and put you in a dark room, alone, in a room full of people!!!
When our thoughts get out of control we generate enough brain power to produce enough anxiety to power the planet!!! When anxiety starts overflowing into other areas of our lives we are not only sinking ourselves but we are taking the people we love down with us!!
You can find this darkness in relationships, marriage, at work, at school, in finances, in sickness, etc...
The sad reality is that you can feel this way when there is no logical reason for you to feel this way!! It's ok to seek medical treatment but please pray that God will guide you to a Praying Doctor!!! But between now and then, cry out to Jesus, it's highly possible that Jesus with get to you before you get an appointment with your Doctor!! (No offense meant to the medical world)
Jesus can stand on the sea shore of your life and hold the waves of anxiety back while holding you with His other hand, simultaneously!!! Jesus can bust you out of whatever has you trapped, just call His Name!!

“the new and the old”
In the Song of Solomon, Solomon's lover calls him "My Beloved" and he calls her "My Love". It is a beautiful story of intimacy that teaches us that we must let go of yesterday to fully enjoy tomorrow!!!
"The mandrakes give a smell, and at our GATES are all manner of pleasant FRUITS, new and old, which I have LAID UP for thee, O my beloved."
(Song of Solomon 7:13)
In this verse there is an aroma of pleasant fruits at "our gates". Gates are openings or portals into something new. If you will notice, the fruit is "new and old", we cannot have the new without the old!! The old fruit refers to our past which, regardless of what it is, it has shaped us into whatever we are today. In real time, we are what we are but there is new fruit to be produced by us!! We will enter the gate of the future, a new portal in time tonight at midnight!! At Midnight you are 6 hours from daylight behind you and 6 hours from daylight ahead of you!! Midnight is a very unique Time of Day!!! It's that split second of time where yesterday meets tomorrow, the past meets the future!!! In that split second we find TODAY which is unique because every new day is today, with yesterday behind us and tomorrow ahead of us!! We do not live in yesterday or tomorrow, we only have today, literally speaking.....
We must run to meet tomorrow with hope and expectation. At this point in Solomon's relationship with his "Love", she hasn't understood every experience but she says, with confidence;
"I am my beloved's, and his desire is toward me."
(SS 7:10).
She continues her statement of hope and confidence by saying, "Come, my beloved, LET US go forth into the field; LET US lodge in the villages. LET US get up early to the vineyards; LET US see if the vine flourish, whether the tender grape appear, and the pomegranates bud forth: there will I give thee my loves."(SS 7:11-12).
She is now excited about the new experiences ahead of her. It is a new day so let's run to meet it with our hearts filled with love and excitement!! She was so in love with Solomon that she was consumed with desperation when not in His presence. If you read the book in its entirety, you will notice that they move from one experience to another. At first she hesitates to move ahead because she is so attached to yesterday's intimacy that she doesn't want to move on, she wants to stay in the moment. As their relationship progresses she realizes that He is more important than an experience because experiences change, so enjoy them but don't get attached. Religions are built by people trying to
re-play an old experience that was wonderful but in the past. Old fruit will spoil if not consumed and our consumption of the old brings forth the new fruit that we must experience to stay fresh!! You see, the old fruit was once the new fruit and the new will soon be the old! When He moves, move with Him! Experiences are bound by time which is restricted to moments but He has no boundaries nor restrictions. We must enter each new day in the freedom of Christ, free from sin and regret, free to follow His vision for our lives. We must not allow the disapproval of others to hold us captive in some time frame, a mental snap shot of us from ten years ago or even yesterday. Please don't allow someone else's image of you to define or identify who you are at present and especially not in your future. So lay your sin and regret at the Cross of Jesus and run into the new year filled with His resurrection power without hesitation!!!! God is good so the New Year with be good!!!! Remember the old but experience the new!!!
"Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?"(Isaiah 43:19)

Life Detox!!!!
Medical research says toxic memories and/or stressful situations release 30 different stress hormones and 1400 different chemical reactions are going on in the brain as long as you are in toxic stress mode!!! This will destroy your mental and physical health because you were not created to contain all of this stress, drama and negativity!! A good percentage of our toxicity comes from the people we have been around and are around on a daily basis.
Your home that you live in, sleep in and eat in was not designed to store trash!! If you take the trash out of your home, it will be comfortable and smell fresh but if you don't take out the trash it will stink!!! Please notice that different types of trash has it's on distinct smell but it stinks and dominates the atmosphere just the same....
Unpleasant odor will end the peace and comfort of the place of rest!! Your furniture will still be comfortable but due to an unpleasant annoying odor that you cannot even see will bring your comfort to an abrupt halt!!! You must find the source and remove it from the premises!!
Ask God's Spirit to free you of people and experiences that create drama in your life. You must also FACE THE FACT that some of the situations, you cannot escape nor can you avoid every person that causes you stress!!!

Trust..Honesty..Transparency...
Be very careful what you allow yourself to hear because it will have an effect on your future. What you mentally process will either have a positive or a negative influence on you. The people around you are the most likely to influence you unless your influence is stronger!!
