"A woman's work is never done". Truer words have never been spoken!! Where would the church be today without the power, determination and dedication of women? After preaching for 32 years, it is my observation that the church would be way behind on its purpose and pretty empty on Sunday mornings. Our nursery ministry would be almost non existent, Sunday school would suffer a devastating blow and may I remind you that JESUS was born of a WOMAN!! Ladies, I salute you today for laboring in the Gospel ministry because it would not function to its fullest capacity without you. My wife, Kari M. Boatner, has faithfully stood by my side, encouraged me, loved and prayed for our ministry for over 3 decades. Our Church Financial Administrator is a women, she is accountable to make sure all the offerings are counted, deposited and dispersed to the various needs of God's House. She also makes sure that all of the ministries and charitable organizations get their monthly checks. She carefully documents each transaction for our church records. Our Media Ministry Director is a women that labors in the social media world to enable our sermon videos to be watched all over the world as well as our devotional ministry. We get emails from various parts of the world from people that watch the sermons and read the devotions. The potential reach is endless!! I thank you for watching the sermons and reading the devotions. A couple weeks ago I had a nice lady ask me if she could do anything to help with the ministry. In her email she shared that she didn't have any money to help support the ministry but she would love to do something for God in association with our ministry. I responded to her by making her aware that God would bless her desire to serve. I told her that she could sit at her computer and by sharing our ministry devotions, videos, etc...with her friends, she could change the world. It is a very subtle way to comfortably share the Gospel with the people that need to be saved, healed, encouraged, etc.. The Fourth of July, the day we Americans celebrate the birth of our great country and the freedoms we enjoy. I thought you might want to know what happened to the 56 brave men that signed the "Declaration of Independence". If only we had men like this running our country today!!
Five signers were captured by the British as traitors, and tortured before they died. Twelve had their homes ransacked and burned. Two lost their sons serving in the Revolutionary Army; another had two sons captured.
Nine of the 56 fought and died from wounds or hardships of the Revolutionary War. They signed and they pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor. What kind of men were they? Twenty-four were lawyers and jurists. Eleven were merchants, nine were farmers and large plantation owners; men of means, well educated, but they signed the Declaration of Independence knowing full well that the penalty would be death if they were captured. Carter Braxton of Virginia, a wealthy planter and trader, saw his ships swept from the seas by the British Navy. He sold his home and properties to pay his debts, and died in rags. Thomas McKeam was so hounded by the British that he was forced to move his family almost constantly. He served in the Congress without pay, and his family was kept in hiding. His possessions were taken from him, and poverty was his reward. Vandals or soldiers looted the properties of Dillery, Hall, Clymer, Walton, Gwinnett, Heyward, Ruttledge, and Middleton. At the battle of Yorktown, Thomas Nelson, Jr., noted that the British General Cornwallis had taken over the Nelson home for his headquarters. He quietly urged General George Washington to open fire. The home was destroyed, and Nelson died bankrupt.
Francis Lewis had his home and properties destroyed. The enemy jailed his wife, and she died within a few months. John Hart was driven from his wife's bedside as she was dying. Their13 children fled for their lives. His fields and his gristmill were laid to waste. For more than a year he lived in forests and caves, returning home to find his wife dead and his children vanished. Some of us take these liberties so much for granted, but we shouldn't. So, take a few minutes while enjoying your 4th of July holiday and remember these Patriots. It's not much to ask for the price they paid. They sacrificed everything they had because our Freedom was not Free!!

Angels Around Us!!
The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. Psalm 34:7
"Angels around Us" One of God's ways to watch over His people!!
The Angels are encamped all around us, they are there 24/7 delivering us from harm and danger that we may or may not know about. Our God is always watching over us and working things out for our good. He never sleeps, He is our Keeper and He is our Shade on our right hand. He preserves us from all evil and protects us as we travel from place to place.(PS.121:3-8) It's comforting to know that Angels from God are on a mission to protect and preserve. They actually go before us in order to prepare the way for us. (EX. 23:20) "The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way." (Psalm 37:23) We are not just aimlessly wandering around on planet earth. If you are a believer, God has plans for you, so start paying attention to what's going on in your life. It's by Devine Design that you are where you are today. Sure you may have made a few errors along the way but God is a forgiving God and knows exactly where you are right this very second. He is Just and Faithful to forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.(1JN. 1:9) So if you are saved and for some reason your not feeling the Presence of God right now, just Take a deep breath, He's right there with you all the way, every day. You are His Temple and He is not going anywhere without you.(1Cor. 3:16) If you will allow your Spirit to be real sensitive today, you will be surprised at what good things comes your way this day!!!
